For some reason or another I have neglected to look for inspiration lately in regards to my photography. Actually, I have neglected to look for inspiration ever since I started with my camera. I often look at my photography and believe that it doesn't reflect anyone else's, but I know that's not true. I've wasted far too much time pursuing something I love without having a foundation for my knowledge.
So today I was dreaming about a Hasselblad. I was dreaming of film. I was looking at modest mouse photographs and I came across the one above. And I said, "I love the way that looks." And instead of dismissing it for a nice photo of my favorite band, I searched the photographer out. His name is Chris Anthony, and well, he is truly amazing.
For the next week I plan on finding ten photographers that I respect and would love to learn from their techniques and finally, feel inspired.
