The Decemberists at Radio City Music Hall

So a long long time ago, around two summers I'd say, leslie and I were both lucky enough to share one of the greatest concert-going experiences of both of our lives with a bunch of friends at the Hollywood bowl. In my opinion it was perfect. The Decemberists, wine and cheese gallor, I'm pretty sure I smoked some reefer, and well, the stories were all past onto you guys that weren't able to join us, and I'm sure you were all happy for your friends and not in the least bit jealous.

Skip to a week ago, and while the hollywood bowl would be substituted for another, lesser-known venue called Radio City Music Hall, it was pretty much the same awe-inspiring journey through yesteryear. There was a little addition though that I'd be remise if I left out. A little pixie by the name of Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond graced the stage for almost the entire set, including a spot-on rendition of Heart's Crazy on You and few other standout vocal moments.

on a separate but equal note, I absolutely had to post this video of a bunch of happy white people making movements to sound. I'm not hating, I swear, it just had to be captured.
